World Kidney Day - Medical Breakthrough – Clinical Trials Address Reversal of Kidney Disease
World Kidney Day is an annual global event aimed at raising awareness of the importance of kidney health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease, which is a huge challenge for patients, their family and friends, and the global medical community. This year, World Kidney Day is a great day, as we are reporting a major medical breakthrough – a new Autologous Regenerative Tissue Replacement (ARTR™) organ repair procedure that will revolutionize the medical treatment of kidneys and many other organs. It is a day of hope, as we begin to erase chronic kidney disease (CKD) from the list of fatal diseases that plague humanity.
Dr. Liaqat Ali, MD., MBBS, CHPE, FCPS (Urology) Chairman Urology & Transplant, Institute of Kidney Diseases, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, Pakistan, and Chief Surgeon of ARTR™ kidney repair surgeries states, referring to ARTR™: “Every kidney patient should consider the advantages of receiving this amazing procedure. I believe this is the advancement in CKD treatment the medical community has been seeking for many years. It is clearly the preferred medical alternative to a kidney transplant, and a leading solution to CKD and renal failure.”
Health organizations report that 1 in 10 adults worldwide suffer from CKD. Until now, a diagnosis of CKD has been generally irreversible, with continuing progression to dialysis, followed by many body organ failures and death. ARTR™ kidney repair procedure addresses stopping and possibly reversing the progression of CKD.
In making this significant announcement, Glenn Gearhart, CEO of BCM Industries, states: “Clinical trial validation of BCM proprietary ARTR™ kidney repair process will activate the kidney to regenerate new kidney tissue. With this success, we are extremely pleased to soon begin offering ARTR™ kidney repair treatments that will save and improve millions of lives worldwide. Treatments will initially be offered at the Hayatabad Medical Complex, in Peshawar, Pakistan. We are arranging for many more hospitals and countries to offer this kidney repair procedure to CKD sufferers from around the world. This is a monumental achievement by BCM and the Pakistan surgical team, but it is only the beginning. We expect to be announcing many more major medical breakthroughs later in the year.”
